Japan Oct. chip gear B:B plunges
AFX News Limited (November 19, 2008)TOKYO, Nov 19 (Reuters) - The book-to-bill ratio for Japanese chip-making equipment stood at 0.81 in October, meaning that for every 100 yen of sales there were new orders worth 81 yen, an industry group said on Wednesday.
That was down from 0.95 in the previous month, the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan said.
